Our Story

Mota was born from a love of skateboarding, biking, and the freedom that comes from movement.

After years working for the world’s largest car company, I saw how global brands were reimagining mobility – yet closer to home, affordable, sustainable transport options were limited. The rising costs of cars, insurance, and road tax made driving out of reach for many, while traffic and pollution continued to rise.

I founded Mota to offer a better alternative – a range of micro electric vehicles that make urban travel faster, cleaner, and more fun.
